Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
Matheion ("we", "our", or "the app") is a self-study computer science app. This policy explains what information the app uses and how it is handled.
Summary
Matheion is designed to work without an account in this release. Your learning progress and quiz scores are stored locally on your device. We do not operate a backend that collects your personal data, and we do not sell your information.
Information stored on your device
The app may store the following on your device only:
- Units you have marked as practised or completed
- Best quiz scores per module
- App preferences via local storage (SharedPreferences on iOS)
This data is not transmitted to our servers. Lesson content is bundled in the app and does not require a network connection after install.
What we do not collect
- No account registration or email required to use the app
- No advertising identifiers or third-party analytics in this version
- No sale of personal data
Future accounts or subscriptions
If a future version adds optional sign-in or in-app purchases, this policy will be updated. Payment would be handled by Apple or Google; we would receive only purchase status from those platforms, not full payment details.
Children
Matheion is an educational app suitable for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through our own services.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do.
